rack mount modules
Welcome to my home-built synth site. Here you will find schematics of various circuits I have experimented with, pictures of modules that I have built, plus other DIY related information. Most of the modules fit in a Frac Rack enclosure from PAiA Electronics.

AmbiLoop Software Looper A Windows program for recording audio loops in real-time.
Variable Frequency Quadrature Sinewave Oscillator schematic (pdf): An oscillator that outputs sine and cosine waves.
Balanced Modulator schematic (pdf): A balanced modulator built around the LM1496. This is an experimental circuit, your mileage may vary.
Saw/Pulse/Triangle VCO: (PC board sold out, sorry!)
Blacet Research Dark Star Chaos: Interesting noise synth from Blacet. (with DIY front panel)
Dual ADSR: This module is my take on a simple ADSR circuit.
VC ADSR schematic: An experimental VC ADSR circuit.
Dual Analog Multiplier (ring modulator): This module is built around the AD633 chip.
Inverting CV Scaler with Offset (and Mixer): A simple but useful utility module.

ASM1 Style State Variable Filter: A home-built version of the ASM1 implementation of a state variable filter.
Power Supply: Pictures of the DIY power supply driving the modules. My advice: buy a commercial supply instead!
Saw/Sine to Pulse Converters with PWM: Schematics and pictures of a PWM module.
Easytrax Notes: Some notes on using the Easytrax PCB layout software.
