Here is a picture of a VCO PCB I have been working on. It is similar to the ASM-1 and MAM design with saw, pulse, and triangle outputs. It uses a MAT-02 matched transistor pair (LM394 also works) and a KRL C-2AQ tempco resistor for temperature stability. It has coarse and fine tuning controls as well as V/oct. inputs, a manual PWM control, scalable VC PWM, scalable VC linear FM, and a hard sync input. I have posted the schematic for those interested. |
| The big resistor in the center of the board is the 1k 3500ppm from KRL which is resting on the MAT-02 transistor pair. The trimmers are for initial frequency, V/oct. trim, triangle endpoint matching, and triangle centering. The unused pads on the right will accomodate an extra 8 pin DIP should customization of the circuit be desired. The board is designed for +/- 15 volts. |
| I did a small production run of this board but they are now sold out, sorry! |
